8th August 2011 - At the end of day one no winners or losers as Nicholas Brocklehurst writes on Facebook. 'Poor decision to go racing today, casualty list: 1 demasting, 2 damaged masts, 3 broken spinnaker poles, 2 genoas, 3 spinnakers as well as numerous minorly damaged sails, collisions etc. Considering the race was cancelled during the last leg of the race might something be learnt from this?
